My students are creative, eager to learn, and full of wonder. They absolutely love to learn through hands-on, engaging activities. They come to school each day ready to learn and grow. In my classroom, I strive to create an environment where all students feel important and work to meet the needs of each child.
As a first-year teacher with limited resources, I am working to provide students with everything that they need to be successful and to have fun as they learn.

My Project
The materials that I am requesting will make a big difference for my students as we learn through play. These manipulatives will benefit my students greatly as the effective use of manipulatives is shown to help students integrate their knowledge for a deeper mathematical understanding; which certainly begins in kindergarten.
I strongly believe that learning through play experiences will enrich learning and help my students develop key skills such as experimentation, and teamwork.
These materials would make a big difference in our classroom as we learn many of our math topics; which include measurable attributes, sorting, geometry, and counting. My students would be so excited to receive these materials. We hope you can help!
