My students need new math puzzles, timers, counters and other activities. They need hands on activities to help them learn how to count and represent numbers.
Do you remember what it was like trying to learn something but just not feeling interested? My students need hands on materials to help them feel excited about numbers!
I have 24 diverse students.
We are a 100 % free breakfast and lunch school. They are ALL amazing! My students love to learn! They are excited to come to school each day! My students love to learn through hands on activities. We take brain breaks often and dance!
My Project
We need new math puzzles, activities and manipulatives. I chose hands on activities to help engage my students during work stations. We have limited resources available to us. Students will be excited to use different manipulatives to practice counting! I also chose puzzles that will help students with number recognition. A hands on measuring activity that will show students how to measure their feet! Finally, a shopping activity that will help students count and sort! I'm so excited to watch my students use these materials!
My students deserve the very best!
We come from a low income area. Most of my students do not have much at home. I want my students to see that people do care about them and are willing to put money towards their education. Students will have hands on activities that will help them grasp their understanding on numbers.
