My Kindergarten classroom is full of excited and energetic children! They love to learn with hands-on materials and books. Each student is enthusiastic about learning in many modalities, and I strive to provide them with many resources and opportunities for rich and engaging content in all subject areas.
Listening to stories is the peak of our day!
They can't wait to hear the story, and many of my books have a paired stuffed animal. We often retell the story with a student created puppet show!
I have the best job in the world, going to school happy and eager to learn right along with my students!
My Project
Literature is golden for Kindergarteners! The magic of listening to a story read aloud is an experience that draws the class together in imagination and wonder! Story time is our favorite time of the day, hands down!
These hand picked books will provide my students the opportunity to learn through literature.
Each book was carefully chosen to support thematic units in my classroom, with a focus on characters, vocabulary, and comprehension. There are fairy tales, fun fiction, factual nonfiction, and more!
