Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a Kindergarten class. The class has special needs students included for the entire day.
Hands on activities really appeal to all of my students. My students love going to their literacy centers. Limited funding makes it difficult to provide students with the variety of literacy centers and literacy center activities they need to keep them meaningfully engaged.
I'm so happy my students enjoy literacy centers. I want to encourage them to keep up their love of learning by providing literacy centers that are hands on and appealing. I have requested literacy related games, alphabet stamps for word building activities, literature based centers and a classroom magnetic center.
