Kindergarten + iPod = Learning
My students need 4 iPods to engage them in learning activities during center time.
Do you remember a world without handheld technology? My kindergarten students do not! Help me get their hands on an iPod during center time.
We are in a small town in Oklahoma and most of my students come from low income families.
Even though they are low income, they are excited about learning and enjoy school. My kindergarten students are fun and full of life. We enjoy every single minute we are together. We are a little school with a big heart!
Technology has come a long way in the past couple of decades. My students do not remember a time without cell phones, tablets, and iPods. With the adoption of the Common Core State Standards, technology is a big part of learning. With the addition of these 4 iPods, my students will be able to learn necessary literacy and math skills in a fun and engaging way during an individual setting. There are many applications that will provide lessons on a plethora of subjects. Math and reading as well as science and social studies are just examples of the many ways we could use these materials.
Thank you in advance for your consideration for funding.
My students will be exposed to many different kinds of learning styles because of your funding of this project. I can not think of a better way to learn than by actually touching and holding the learning material. With your help, my students will have that opportunity.
