Each year, I am blessed with some amazing children. I meet them for the first time on their very first day of school. I want to instill a love for learning in each child. My classroom has always been creative and loving. I would like to add more play to their day and really get them excited about education. Each child that comes through my classroom will always remember their year in kindergarten. They come in nervous and a little scared, but leave excited and ready for first grade.
My Project
My classroom is in need of sturdy book bins where my students can house their little readers. They are also in need of sensory sand and water beads for their choice time play. We like to move and have fun in the classroom so the wiggle stool will definitely come in handy!
I believe in movement and play in the classroom and having a structured class with kid friendly materials is very helpful.
The students will use the boombox for listening to their books on CD and for listening to music. They will use the book bins to hold their little reader books.
