Due to the low socioeconomic status of my students, many of them receive free and reduced lunch. School is the best part of these children's day! They come to class each day with lots of enthusiasm and eager to learn each day. My students hold a special place in my heart and it is my goal to provide these amazing children with a life long love of learning. Providing these students with flexible seating options will only boost the love of school that these sweet babies have already developed.
My Project
The options of flexible seating in an early childhood classroom will provide my students with a comfortable, yet engaging place to learn. Kindergarten is full of Busy Little Learners who deserve an opportunity to learn through play, movement, and exploration. These seats will allow children the option to move and release energy, yet still stay engaged in learning opportunities. Too many classes expect five and six year old children to sit in chairs quietly for an ample amount of time. By donating to my project, you will help in creating a fun, creative, and engaging classroom environment allowing children to learn in a student centered learning environment.
