My Students
I have an incredible class of 24 kindergarten students. We are a public school, based in East Oakland's Eastmont neighborhood. Most of my students live in the community. Many of my students are English learners. My TK class is incredibly inquisitive, active and ready to learn.
We are working daily towards perfecting the writing of our names, learning the letters and sounds of the alphabet, learning numbers and the foundations of reading.
As a class, we have a goal of learning and having fun every day!
My Project
Students will know that no matter what time of the day, they can have a good healthy snack in class. Students with rumbling tummies are not the best learners. By providing these basic necessities, students can start and end the day prepared to do their best. As a teacher I can know my students have the fuel they need to get the job done.
We have a refrigerator from a previous campaign.
We also have some snacks. This request includes things I forgot like utensils and paper cups and bowls. Also replacement hand sanitizers for our hand sanitizer dispensers. We are excited to continue adding to our pantry for our class and the school.
