My students need alternative seating options to help them exhibit their best efforts in the classroom. These ball chairs will help students maintain focus throughout the day and reach their full potentials.

My Students

My students are an amazing group of kindergarteners from Newton and Boston, Massachusetts. Each day I am amazed by their growth and excitement to learn. They come from various different backgrounds and have a wide range of learning styles and needs.

They are an energetic and active group of students who are eager to try new things!

I hope to be able to give each of my students the tools they need to succeed and make our world a better place.

My Project

I am working toward implementing flexible seating in my kindergarten classroom. The way each of us learns is not uniform. Traditional tables and chairs are not the best options for all students. I want to be able to offer my students a wide range of seating options to meet the needs of all learners. For example, students who benefit from movement might choose to sit on a ball chair, which helps them work productively. This helps students build core muscles, which helps them focus throughout the day. I want to be able to offer my energetic students a variety of flexible seating options to make sure that each kindergartener is getting what they need to succeed.
