My students love music! My primary music classroom is a place where students have the chance to sing, dance, move creatively, and have their minds opened to the wonderful world of music each week. It is my joy to teach children the fundamentals of music so that, if they choose to, they will have a solid foundation to build upon for future singing or instrumental endeavors.
I serve in a district that values the arts highly, so I take my job of introducing young students to the wonders of music very seriously.

My Project
I love teaching primary music! It's my calling. The kids have a blast in my classroom and I have a blast teaching them! I'm always on the hunt for new ideas to implement in my classroom and these lesson plans will give me lots of them!

Aileen is very well known in the elementary music world as an excellent Kodaly music teacher and as a blogger and producer of materials for elementary music teachers. These lessons plans cover the entire year for both kindergarten and first grade...the 2 main grade levels that I teach! I'm so excited for the opportunity to possibly add tons of new ideas into my lesson plans. These plans will include songs, games, rhymes, literature, instrument ideas, and listening ideas.
