My students need materials, like whiteboards, alphabet stamps, and sharp crayons to enhance their learning and start their educational careers off the right way!
Kindergarten is an age where students learn through exploring. I want to expose my students to a variety of learning materials and resources.
My students are a bustling group of Kindergartners.
They are curious, excited, and cheerful. They LOVE learning to read and write. They are also quite the math explorers. We have a large, wonderful school with a dedicated staff that puts children first.
My Project
I am hoping to allow my students more materials to practice letters, sounds, and spelling with. Students are more motivated and engaged when they can explore words through a variety of materials, such as crayons, white boards, wikki stix, stamps, play-doh etc. I also hope to expand our morning meeting time with a place value pocket chart and a teaching easel that is not broken and can hold big books so every student can see the book.
This project is so important because it impacts the learning experiences of 24 amazing young learners.
Kindergarten should be the most exciting year for these students and I want to be sure that it is a year that gets them excited and feeling positive about learning and school. Having these materials and an organized classroom will help these students become more engaged and provide them with the learning experiences they so deserve!
