My Students

I am back in Kindergarten at a central Louisiana school. The school and district I am in try their best to provide all the materials and supplies my students need. But it is always good to get help for the things that really make learning more fun and hands-on.

These students are absolutely amazing and each has their own personality that lights up the classroom.

They each have different learning styles and things that help lessons click. In order to better meet each of their needs, we do a lot of learning centers in our room that focus on the core lesson but at their level and in their way.

My Project

I recently introduced new STEM materials to my students. This included battery powered gears. They have loved it! The next step to encouraging their engineering skills will be the Botley Robot set.

My students are amazing and they come to school every day excited and eager to learn.

They have shown me they are so much more capable of doing these STEM activities than I ever imagined. We have requested 3 Botley The Coding Robots & Action Challenge Accessory Packs. This way we can break into groups and see what all we can do with the robots. We will use these as part of our STEM time I have allotted in my class schedule to help my students become better thinkers and do-ers.
