Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A typical day in my kindergarten day starts with a smile and ends with lots of hugs. I work hard to create a welcoming environment where children are allowed to take risks and reach their potential. My goal at the end of the school year is for students to develop a deep love for learning.
My students are some of the most amazing five and six year olds you will ever meet!
I work for a title one school and not all student have easy lives, but the moment they walk into our school they know they are in a place where they will be supported and can thrive.
My Project
Students will be using these materials every day during our "learning labs" or center time. These materials will help my students practice and master the numerous common core standards in mathematics and literacy. These skills are necessary for my students to be successful and ready for first grade.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom tremendously.
It will allow my students access to daily, fun activities that will engage my students while reinforcing the common core standards.
