My Students
Our classroom is filled with diverse young learners who come from rich, colorful backgrounds. Many of us speak another language at home and celebrate different holidays, and some of us are first generation immigrants. Having an ELL cluster in our classroom gives us the opportunity to celebrate diversity and different cultures.
Each one of our classmates brings their own special talents, skills, and life experiences into the classroom.
We strive for an inclusive classroom community that serves as a support system, safe place, and positive learning environment for all of our classmates. With support and encouragement from each other, we can become the best people we can both inside and outside of our classroom.
My Project
My name is Mrs. Wolfrum, and I am a kindergarten teacher at a Title I public school in Ohio. My building was built in 1957 and the cubby/coat hooks can be difficult for my kiddos to utilize. The hooks are taller than them, cause their backpacks to overlap, and can cause backpacks and coats to tangle or become lost. I would really like to get storage cubes to use in place of these hooks.
Each one of my students could have a place of their own for their personal items that they can easily use and access without hassle or difficulty.
