Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Unique, energetic, determined, and curious are just a few words to describe the students in my classroom! Most of my students have many things going on in their lives that could and do prevent them from learning. Some of my students have been through more tragedy and loss than most of us will see in a lifetime. Their willingness to push forward and thrive is inspiring! They continue to work hard and persevere although most have or continue to experience extravagant hardships. They are happy, eager, and love coming to school to see what exciting things they will learn each day!

My Project

I have chosen specific materials that we do not have to help enrich our already running ELA, Math, and Free-time Centers!

Each item I have chosen will help every student continue to develop their fine motor skills!

My students will use the nut, bolts, locks and key tools during math centers. The blocks and car sets during free choice indoor time, and the white boards and magnetic letters will be used daily during Reading instructions!

Each item has been carefully selected based on the students I work with on a daily basis. Please consider helping fund our first project!
