This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are excited to come to school after being virtual all last year or not having any type of schooling. They bring life into the classroom with their constant energy and love of learning. They are so happy being together in the classroom and to be able to be little thinkers together.

My Project

This year my class requires a lot of attention and instructional help. Doing small math groups and small literacy groups really helps the kids learn much more than doing whole group instruction. The kids not only are learning new things but are teaching each other as well.

The items requested will give my students new opportunities to make learning fun and educational.

Students will be able to work in small groups and learn letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, numbers, simple addition and subtraction, and much more all while learning from myself and each other.
