My Students

Creativity is an important skill for today's students to develop. It is our belief in creativity that we want our Kindergartens to become Artists!

My students are 5 year old kids from California who love to learn!

We have a rigorous curriculum that develops their reading, writing, and math skills, but we also make sure to leave plenty of time to develop creativity! Half of my students are new to the English language and art is often a way for them to really shine in our classroom, since they keep quiet during language rich portions of class, especially at the beginning of the year.

My Project

I am requesting oil pastels and rubbing plates for my students. Oil pastels are expensive and hard to come by in a school environment, however they are essential to many art projects, especially the projects that challenge our students to be creative.

With funding in our schools declining, art supplies are the first things we stop receiving.

It is more important than ever that our students develop their creativity skills. This will help them be the world changers we need to further society. We need these art supplies in order to properly foster this creativity in our Kindergarten program. Thank you for supporting the future problem solvers of our world!
