Remember how special it was to get a project created with love by your child at school? I want to be able to create those memories with my kindergarten students. Art supplies are not covered in my classroom budget anymore, and I still want to do the projects with my students.
We live in a rural area without stores to purchase even the most basic supplies for my classroom use in any affordable manner.
Many of my students have not attended preschool due to poverty level and lack of transportation, so this year is their first chance to explore and use art supplies. My students love art projects and parents don't have the means to send in supplies.
My Project
Your support will help my students create many memorable projects to share with their families. Since they will be getting support from people they don't know, they will also learn that the world is full of compassionate people who are willing to help us get the supplies we need.
Many of these supplies will last for more than one school year so your help will help more than 50 kindergarten students!
Just remember all the wonderful memories you have from your own kindergarten experience or the experiences of your own children when they were 5!
