Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Kindergartners are so expressive and ready to act, sing, create, and dance! We have explored music genres, dance styles, cultural songs, and get our brains awake with movement and dance!
They are happiest when the music is on!
Just some classical in the background soothes them and helps them concentrate. A silly song gets them up and moving!
We explore traditional and new songs for kids. They love to show their "moves" for a Freeze Dance!
We love MUSIC and ART!!!
My Project
My creative students love to explore, move, sing, and shine as artists! These art and music materials will stimulate their brains and let them show their hidden talents. The items will be used especially for creative expression in the classroom and BEYOND!!!
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT THE ARTS IS THAT IT TEACHES ME WHAT YOUNG MINDS CAN DO!
Young children have a way of diving into the arts without a care about who will see it or what someone else is doing. I want to foster that in my classroom. Whether we are dancing, playing, or creating, I want it to be fun AND everlasting!
