My students are a wonderful and exciting group of four and five-year-old boys and girls, in an ICT (integrated collaborative teaching) classroom. This means that 40% of my students are in special education, and the rest are in general education.
We are a Title I school and work hard to ensure that everyone learns and succeeds.
I want them to have everything they need and deserve to have to make their school year exciting and fun, as well as productive and successful throughout the entire year.
My Project
My students learn through the use of many materials throughout the course of the school year. Materials like dry erase markers and dry erase erasers are needed so that my students can use dry erase boards when learning to write. We do word study and we use them daily. Our markers are running dry and the erasers we have are old.
Kindergarten is the most precious and important time in a child's life.
Smelly stickers and stars help my students appreciate learning as they are awarded for their good work and behavior on a regular basis. We give out stars. Every 10 stars earns a student a prize from the prize bin. We go through lots of stars this way.
New nameplates and safety tags are needed so that we can label our desks and stay safe when we go on field trips. Now that it is Spring time, we go on lots of field trips. Safety tags are used for the students to keep them labeled in case they get lost.
Please help my students enjoy learning through all these materials. They love learning and need these materials to keep learning throughout the rest of the school year.
