I teach in a Title I school that is located in a diverse low socio-economic neighborhood in the Bay Area. I have 18 eager to learn kindergarten students this year. They enter my classroom every day enthusiastic and excited to learn. My goal is to have a classroom that fosters a love of learning and a wide variety of skills and knowledge.
Kindergarten students love to explore, discover, and be creative, and they need the proper equipment to support their learning.
I want my students to have the materials necessary to foster STEAM learning and to learn in ways they haven't experienced before.
My students need materials to engage in STEAM activities. Legos, magnetic tiles, and trains will provide my students with opportunities to work in small group to explore and learn through play. My students will be excited and engaged in these activities while building the necessary skills to become successful.
Legos, magnetic tiles, and trains are a fun, engaging, and hands-on approach for students to learn the 4 C's: critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration through play.
My students are in desperate need of STEAM materials to allow for them to grow as scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. My students are the future!
