My students need to explore using the Magnet Advance Kit and the floating rings and they need to have a soft cozy carpet to sit on while learning, in place of the tile that we have.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our over five hundred scholars come early in the morning to have breakfast and then head to class. They have great potential but we need to provide them with tools to be successful.
Just now , as we are starting to recover from Harvey, our students are finally focused on school work which is great because we still have a trimester to work and catch up as much as we can before the summer is here.
we need to create a space where our students can put into practice what we are now learning in science . Our children love to work using hands on activities and it usually includes supplies and resources that we lack.
Having a work station means everyone will get the chance to work independently or with a buddy , having all the materials at hand and always available on a special location . Not just looking at pictures or videos. For example, Its so much better to plant a seed than to look at a video of someone else doing it.
My Project
Having resources to use in science is vital for my students to make connections for long term learning. Handling magnets, touching and exploring them is so much better and engaging than just watching video clip in class.
As we are learning so many topics, having a doctor's kit will be perfect for our living and non living unit not to mention that having a carpet instead of tile floor will also enhance the quality of the space that my students share.
All these resources will be enjoyed by several generations of students as they come through my classroom doors every year.
