My Students

I am a Kindergarten teacher to 18 bright and imaginative students. My students are eager learners and have plenty of supplies like reading response books, show what you know books and more. With that being said, keeping them organized is something that I am attempting to do. I would love to provide them with classroom seat companions to ensure that their supplies be at arms reach from them and this will help with smoother transitions in the classroom. This will also reduce any delays in our precious academic time during the school day!

My Project

These supplies will make a HUGE difference in reducing transition time, and will improve my students organizational skills. In having seat pockets with all of their necessities at arms reach behind their chairs, this will allow for optimal academic time throughout the school day. Time is precious to us, and I would like to be able to take advantage of every minute. My students will be taught to put their important text books and notebooks in these seat pockets and they will learn when to pull each one out depending on the academic area being taught. After time, this process will occur so quickly and we can get started on learning at a faster rate!
