This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Special needs students need individualized instruction and modifications. This means a lot of printing and laminating to keep literacy and math center games and flash cards intact.

I teach 12 wonderful kindergarten, first and second grade students in a self contained classroom in a school located on the Lower East Side.

Each student has an individualized educational plan and a different way of learning. They all enjoy hands on activities and learning through play.

My Project

Helping my students memorize and process their basic facts and big ideas takes a lot of printing of literacy and math center games. To protect these games, laminating them allows them to be used for more than a week. I use the laminating sheets to protect the learning games and flashcards used to help them learn their basic facts, vocabulary and the alphabet.

Kids will be kids and paper rips.

The laminating sheets will allow me to keep the literacy center and math center games last longer. Help us to save paper and ink while protecting our fun games!
