My Students

I love seeing my students get excited when they get the chance to play instruments in music class, but we only have a few small instruments to go around. Adding a bass xylophone to the mix would bring so much to our music!

I see grades pre-k through 5.

They are the most wonderful kids from a small town in Maine. Our school only has about 150 students so it seems that everyone knows everyone in the community. The kids love to sing songs, play instruments, and perform in concerts.

My Project

My kids are always saying, "I wanna play the big one!" It's so great to see kids excited about music. It's really a big deal to a four or five year old to get to play an instrument that's almost as big as he/she is. Not to mention the beautiful sound that these instruments make. Instruments like these inspire students to explore new sounds, to recognize the difference between high and low pitches and just to be excited about creating music; not just listening.

I am passionate about teaching music and dedicated to creating the best experience possible for my students.

My ultimate goal is for our school to have a full set of orff-instruments. We are far from the finish line, but your donation brings us one step closer to this goal. Our students are so appreciative and would love to be able to use something like this at school. Thank you for your time and I hope that you will consider helping with this project.
