Help me give my students acrylic paints, canvases and higher quality paint brushes so they can enjoy a kid friendly "paint night" as an fundraiser auction prize.
My kids are part of a twenty year old, Spanish Dual Language program, which means they have been learning as bilinguals in English and Spanish since they were in kindergarten.
These kiddos are only my second group of students and they deserve all the wonderful opportunities veteran teachers can provide for them as well.
Bilingual learners are resilient! I am really excited to be able to give them even more opportunities in their learning and expand their knowledge of the arts.
My Project
These amazing materials will be used to provide a mini "paint night" experience for a small group of kids at my school. During our school's Cinco de Mayo silent auction fundraiser, we like to incorporate experiences with teachers as an auction item - rather than just auction off items that turn into clutter in their family's home.
I will be auctioning the afterschool school "paint night" experience for the winner and 5 of their friends at our fundraiser in May!
In order to give them a quality experience, I will need higher quality materials that will really give them a memory they can look back, both in their hearts as well as in their artwork.
