Kids Need to Run!

Help me give my students the proper equipment for them to succeed during their sports-specific training, as well as during in-school training.

My Project

Nearly 4 years ago, our school was consolidated with the nearby middle school, doubling capacity and limiting activity to only the weight room. We have made due with limited equipment, providing kids a physical outlet in a 40x30 room.

This equipment will assist in providing kids the outlet to achieve their cardio-vascular goals and train their running skills in the offseason.

All of our programs currently use the hallways or the gym for conditioning in the winter. It would be great to have something for them to use in our weight room. NYO, Football, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, all need conditioning and this will be one more resource in our school that can benefit.

At the new school, it will be one more additional conditioning tool for students and student-athletes as well.

The anticipated date for the school to be done is likely to be December of 2022, but that does not allow for the gym/weight room to be done at the same time. The anticipated date for that area is not later in 2023 or the following school year. With all of the delays in construction all over the US, I anticipate it will be even longer.

We need to help our kids to maintain/improve their running skills NOW.

The remainder of the equipment will be used to update an already outdated weight room. Replacing rusty bars with new ones, and having a place to put equipment.
