Kids Love Clay in the Art Room!

Help me give my students experience using clay! We need a bakers rack to transport clay masterpieces to the kiln, textured rollers for projects, brushes for glaze, and boards on which to work!

My Project

My students are a fantastic group of diverse learners, aged 5-11. My school has students from all walks of life, and we boast a dozen languages in our school! As students are getting used to being back in school this year after remote learning, they are craving hands-on experiences.

Clay is one of the best ways for students to connect their hands, heart, and mind to create a tangible object they can take home and be proud of.

From pinch pots, to slab containers, to handmade animal sculptures, clay is always the most popular art medium of the year.

This year I want our clay unit to be extra special for the students. The products in my wish list will set us up for a successful, creative, and satisfying clay experiences in the art room. Thank you very much for your consideration.
