My Students

As a gifted and talented education specialist, I have the privilege to work with brilliant 8, 9 and 10 year olds. My students are the next generation of leaders, inventors, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and the list goes on.

My students strive to inspire others, be leaders of leaders, maintain character, integrity, and humility.

Our class motto is, Choose Greatness! We are creative problem solvers, are curious, take risks, learn from our mistakes, have a growth mindset, and are filled with grit! We are unique and think differently than others. As one of my students always says, "Think in a place where there is no box!" My students reach for the stars and are always ready for their next challenge!

My Project

My amazing 5th graders will each wear a Kid Power Band on their wrist. They will earn points which unlock therapeutic food packs for malnourished children around the world. The more a student moves, the more points they will earn and the more lives they will save!

My students will be empowered to help other children, become more active and help end global malnutrition.

They will also go on missions and receive challenges which will teach them about different cultures around the world. It's extremely important for children to begin giving back to the community at a young age. UNICEF Kid Power Bands allow them to see a larger purpose in life that will benefit and impact society in a positive way.
