Kid Friendly Cases
My students need 4 rugged iPad cases, pencils and 6 pencil grips.
This school year I have the great honor of serving as the Literacy Specialist for our growing school of over 650 spectacular students. I am slowly building our reading program and "tool box" of materials to have the best of the best for my students!
I teach at an amazing, public school in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
I love the enthusiasm my students have towards learning. It is their enthusiasm that encourages me to look for ways to enhance my teaching and find great, innovative materials to make learning fun. Their love of learning is what drives me to give them the best because that is what they deserve!
Generous donors have given us 4 iPads to use in our Technology Literacy Center. I am so excited to use these great pieces of technology. One thing I forgot about was the importance of rugged, kid-friendly cases. The cases we have are more appropriate for gentle adults. This will not work for students ranging in age from kindergarten through 4th grade. Right now I am a nervous wreck. We need rugged cases with handles so our iPads will last and be valuable, usable resources! Students will be able to use the iPads in our Technology Literacy Center and also in their classrooms. We also need some triwrite pencils and pencil grips to help our smallest readers learn how to hold a pencil and soar to success.
Thank you so much for reading our request.
Finding engaging ways to help a struggling reader acquire new skills, like an iPad with engaging apps, is priceless, paying for the cases is where I need help.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
