My Students
My students/soccer players are the most determined set of kids. Many, not from this country, and what they have had to overcome in order to become varsity athletes is humbling. Unfortunately, we are not supplied with the necessary gear to run a program. They work hard in the classroom and want to do the same on the field!
We are one family in NWUHS.
Their perseverance inspires me to try and help provide the last bits to complete their path to academic/athletic success!
My Project
I promised my students who wanted a soccer outlet that we would create a soccer program for their hard work.
With goals, we can practice shooting (Finally!).
Practice jerseys helps build team unity and recognition on campus, while also ensuring all our players look uniform and no one feels less than.
We are working together to get them practice jerseys and locks so that their equipment doesn't get stolen.
Our goals got stolen last year, so we need new portable ones we can stow away!
We just don't receive the same support as other more established sports, so we need all the help we can get!
