Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students come to history class ready to engage and learn new things each and every day. The eager spirit is what continues to drive me, as a teacher and a coach. I look forward to seeing each and every student that walks in my door.

I teach at a Title I school where a large majority of the students receive free and/or reduced-price lunches.

My goal is to provide the children with an equal opportunity educator and incorporate the families in the educational experience through resources, contact, while academically supporting the teacher and students.

My Project

The football net and kicking tee will allow several position players to sharpen their skills in anticipation of participating in a wonderful sport. They will learn body control, agility, quickness concepts, and balance while using the kicking and throwing net as well as the stand. We will engage in training sessions designed to give each student the basics of the game of football. These items will enhance our day-to-day training as we prepare during the offseason. The students are always eager to learn a new position or a new skill in order to be the best football player possible.
