Help me give my students these Apple iPads so that they may gain instant access to programs needed in order to be successful in Core Curriculum studies of Reading and Math.

This is how I see my class!
We are a work in progress! When you walk into my classroom there are two words written in bold letters - Respect and Responsibility. I have told all of my second grade students that walk through my door, if you learn absolutely nothing this year please learn to be responsible for your actions and always treat others and yourself with RESPECT! In the district in which I teach, I have learned that I am not just a teacher but I end up being a kiddos nurse, psychologist, mom or the person who gives them the "best" hugs they might not get at home! Not to mention, I am the teacher who acts like a clown and does whatever it takes to dance around the room to make them learn their spelling words or math facts.
Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to be a teacher! I want to leave an impression on all of the students that I meet and teach. I want them to feel like a Rock Star.....like they are IMPORTANT......like they are WORTH SOMETHING!!
My Project
In a perfect world, to have a class set of iPads for student use would be a dream! Technology in our school is a privilege that falls short. We are the largest elementary in the district, with the most need of more technology. NE works above and beyond to try to provide students a certain amount of time daily to receive differentiated and individualized computer programs promoting RLA and Math Core Learning. In the second grade, we are focused on preparing the students all year long for the third grade and the first experiences with state testing through a daily RLA Lexia skills training and Math skills practice using the Dreambox program. The problems consist in the lack of technology resources! We have to share an iPad cart with several other grade levels and hope that there are enough resources available during our instruction.
To have the security and stability in knowing that a small amount of technology will always be guaranteed in the classroom would definitely be one less thing to worry about on this teachers' plate.
Please help me carry one less burden for these GREAT kids who want to be excited about learning without the stresses of everyday kid life!
