Our classroom is an beautiful place where amazing things happen everyday. Students come into this classroom from every walk of life imaginable. Upon walking into the classroom, you will see a diverse group of students who share the same love for school and friendship.
While all the students are so amazingly different, they all share a strong desire for learning and success.
These children strive for greatness every day, regardless of where they come from. Some children come from a family living in poverty and some from a country they moved from only days ago. No matter what, they are strong and resilient children who work hard every day to do well and learn to the best of their ability.
My Project
As this school year comes to an end, I am already looking forward to September, and reflect on the supplies that my classroom will need for the upcoming year. I have been going through my classroom and thinking about what students used and needed the most.
Due to financial situations, parents aren't able to send in the necessary supplies their children need.
Unfortunately, students are unable to get their work done without these materials. I want to start the school year off with the necessary supplies and materials.
My students need basic classroom materials such as construction paper, markers, pencils and pens. These materials will be used throughout the year to organize the room and make charts for writing, reading and math lessons. The laminator sheets will aid in keeping charts looking fresh and readily available so learning time isn't wasted. The students will use the dry erase markers to engage in mathematics and English language arts to practice numbers, equations, sentences, words, and letters. The construction paper will help students transform into little artists with all the project we do each week! These small everyday items will make a big difference in their daily lives.
