Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our kids are amazing! They are awe-inspiring kids who face challenges head on! They come from a diverse mix of homes and countries. They live in the face of adversity but manage to confront that adversity head on and, more often than not, come out on top. Some of these kids have faced situations and challenges that most adults could not overcome.
These kids are a diverse group of young leaders.
They are the ones that will change their own lives and the lives of others through determination and grit. They know no quit and overcome any challenge set before them!
My Project
Class kick is a program that will allow our students to launch their learning into the 21st century. It creates a platform that allows for differentiation in a private and personal way. It cuts down on wasted paper as well as allows teachers to give feedback on work in real time in an instant. Teachers can see and manipulate what students are doing WHILE they are doing it.
Class Kick allows students to not only type responses, but to manipulate, collaborate, and implement 21st century skills in a 21st century classroom.
Class kick pro gives opportunity for peer helpers and coaching. Students learn better from each other than anyone else! They love to help and work together and class kick pro makes it so that they can work together even if they are not in the same room. Using this program across the school will allow for buddy work and mentoring among older and younger students all while teaching them to be self directed learners!
