Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The new school year is off to a great start! I have a wonderful group of third grade magnet students. We enjoy challenging each other to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
My students are enthusiastic, creative, focused, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning.
They are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to have a positive mind-set. The students attend a Title 1 school in a low-income area. The entire school participates in a free breakfast and lunch program.
My Project
I am looking forward to another successful year with my students!
The materials I am requesting are meant to replenish much needed materials to continue my program.
My students and I need HP ink for our color printer. My students will write and publish on the computer and print on the color printer. They will also print art work for their projects, for the bulletin board, and for their artist projects. We also need multipurpose labels. The labels will be used by my students for labeling books, notebooks, and poetry folders. My students will use the Sharpies for labeling, outlining artwork, and for various projects.
My students and I also need laminating sheets to laminate game pieces, name tags, student created book marks, and so much more. Finally, gallon sized Ziploc bags are perfect for storing games and organizing materials. My students will use the bags to safely store their literature books and journals as they travel home and back to school in their back packs.
