KFHS Choirs serve hundreds of students each day. They are from grades 7 through 12 and love singing! The Women's Chorus is open to all FHS women without audition. The focus of Women's Chorus is the sisterhood of singing and exploring many fun styles of music, from classical through barbershop harmony and novelty numbers. Members will learn the basics of vocal technique and sight-reading in order to become functional, confident singers. Women’s Chorus performs at KFHS concerts and competes at OMEA Large Group contest.

Advanced Women's Chorus is open to all FHS women by audition only. The focus of Advanced Women’s Chorus is to move past basic skills into more advanced techniques. Advanced Women’s Chorus performs at KFHS concerts and competes at OMEA Large Group contest.
My Project
Recently, we had the good fortune to receive donations that allowed the choir department to purchase a color laser printer. This is a great help to our department because we have many events that require many color copies. Previously, we have had to hire those out to a local company, which costs more money than doing them in-house. Also, we have to order in specific quantities and often over-order because we can't risk not having enough. Furthermore, we have no good way to get a color "proof" of the project without a lot of time spent back and forth with the printer.
Printers only ship with a "starter" level of toner, which means that buying new toner must happen almost immediately.
This purchase of new toner will help us save money throughout the year.
