My students are thoughtful, hard working and enthusiastic!
Our music program gives children from all cultures and socioeconomic statuses an opportunity to learn and thrive within the community.
This year, students will be learning how to play piano, read music notation, use music technology, write songs and learn about the significance of music history and culture. My students enter the classroom ready to learn, discover and make music. They deserve a quality music education and the tools needed to achieve this.
My Project
The keyboard stands will be used in our piano lab. Right now, the keyboards are on desks which are not sturdy and they can fall easily. The headphones will be used with the keyboards so students can all use them during a class period.
The students in my classroom will greatly appreciate the new materials and they will be used for many years to come.
The folders will be used for the piano lab and for chorus to keep all of the music organized. All of the students will be assigned their own folder to keep in the classroom. Chorus librarians will be responsible for keeping folders and music in order.
