My Students
My class is typical. We learn new things daily in class. However, there are many things that my students need to learn this school year.
My students are from low-income families, and about ninety percent qualify for the free lunch program.
Some of them live with grandparents or are in foster homes. That's why I want them to succeed in school. This will lead to them going to college which, in turn, will lead to them finding jobs and becoming successful adults.
My Project
We have had our computers for years and unfortunately keys have popped off or been damaged. We do not have the money to order new computers, so we would like to replace the keyboards on our laptops that are badly damaged.
We are asking for 9 keyboards to replace the broken laptops.
We need all the keys to type essays, take exams and research for our projects. It's hard without all the keys to do so. We have a computer person at our school who can changed the keyboards for us but he doesn't have keyboards to make this happen. We hope you will help us to repair our computers.
