My Students

My students are curious and enthusiastic. Big or small, no matter what their background, we enjoy making music together. We enjoy a variety of activities together in class. We enjoy singing together and playing games together.

My students LOVE using their music reading skills to play instruments.

It is our favorite part of class. My students love to hear their hard work pay off. It is the most rewarding part of my job. My growing musicians are delightful to work with.

My Project

As my older keyboards stop working, I have students who will not be able to play their own instrument in class. Having enough instruments for each student to play at the same time means we can maximize our learning time and learn more music on piano.

My students are eager to play piano themselves and appreciate not having to share an instrument with another student.

They enjoy being able to use the skill of music reading to produce music in different ways.

While all of my students get an introduction to piano each year, my fifth graders get an in-depth look at pianos during their year with me. They love learning to play an instrument that they know they will encounter throughout their lives.
