My Students

My students are an energetic group of students who work diligently towards understanding. Though they come from a variety of backgrounds and income levels, they all have a strong desire to do their best each and every day.

My students are not only amazing students, they are also amazing individuals who bring with them such a passion for life and learning that they make everyday a joy in our classroom.

As they embark upon their educational journey, they make me proud to be their teacher.

My Project

Currently, in our school we have laptops that have scroll pads, but no mice. Additionally, we have overhead projectors that are not interactive. These devices can be made so much more effective with simple additions.

Using wireless keyboards and mice will make our plain-Jane whiteboards interactive and giving our students mice to use on the laptops will allow them to more easily access the devices.

Our youngest students are challenged navigating the laptops. Their little hands struggle with coordination. The mice will help them to interact with the online materials teachers give them.

Meanwhile, the wireless mice and keyboards will turn our overhead projectors into interactive boards. Teachers will be able to use them during instruction and hand them to students for students to show their work using different applications.

These devices will transform our school into an interactive learning space where students can access digital devices and online materials more readily.
