My Students

I have students who come from all kinds of backgrounds. They range anywhere from grade levels behind in their education to achieving far above grade level.

They come from troubled and unsafe neighborhoods.

Whatever their backgrounds, they still find the motivation to come to school every day because they know education is the key to their futures. Whether they choose to go to college or a trade school, I will help them to get there.

I want them to be able to reach those expectations that I have for them and they have set for themselves.

My Project

All school districts have limited budgets. We are only able to purchase new Chromebooks every so often. This means that what we do have gets worn out after several years and won't be quickly replaced. As nice as it would be to have brand new Chromebooks every few years for our students, that is just not feasible.

The keyboard covers would make it so that our Chromebooks could continue to be fully functional even after keys go missing.

Replacing individual keys with new ones is much more expensive than getting an entire keyboard cover. These covers would also extend the life our our technology far beyond what they are now.
