My Project

I am the technology coordinator for a large public high school on Maui. As the technology coordinator, my assistant and I work closely with teachers to ensure that they have the technology tools that they need to create the best learning experience for their students. We are constantly being called out to classrooms when teachers need help with their technology. Having these new technology tools will help me be able to help teachers be able to utilize the tools that they need for their students.

Our students are very special and come from a wide range of backgrounds and ethnicities.

Since Covid we have gone to a 1-1 where each student and school has their own device. Teachers have also moved into using more and more technology in the classrooms. With this increased use of technology, I have more and more help calls to the classrooms. These tools will help me be mobile to visit classrooms or wherever students and teachers need help.

These tools will help me make a difference in the learning of my students as they will help our entire technology department run smoother and more efficiently. I will be able to be more mobile and more responsive to the needs of my students and teachers.
