My Students

My students come from all walks of life. This year I have 17 students in my class. Some come from very supportive families that are well off, and some come from very poor families who don't have the right resources at home to help their student learn. I also have special education inclusion classroom.

My students help create a loving environment for each other as they learn.

Each student holds a special place in my heart. My classroom is a community of learners that supports one another in every way that they can.

My Project

The students at our school have weekly tests that they take on the computer. Students have the ability to practice for these tests during the week on their home accounts, but since many of my students don't have computers, they are unable to practice. Having an extra iPad in my room would help these students practice during the week while at school so that they have the same advantages as the students who do have computers at home. My students need an extra iPad for the classroom to do their weekly assigned online assessments.

My students will be able to practice and work toward receiving passing grades on their weekly assessments.

My students who do not get to experience technology at home will be able to use this iPad to receive this practice time as well. The iPad is accessible and easy to navigate so that they can learn independence and work towards their continued success in the classroom. Students can also use the different apps for music recording and video editing to further enhance their technological skills.
