My Students

Eager to learn, active, silly, and engaged are a few characteristics my students possess. Fourth grade can be such a transitional time in a child's life. Many of my students come from poverty-stricken homes yet my students still find ways each and every day to be happy and satisfied while they are here. One of my students hated to read at the beginning of the year, and since I began letting her use the QR scanner to read books digitally, it has changed her opinion of reading. I couldn't ask for more!

We live in a fast-paced technological world these days, and my students thrive when given the opportunity to use technology in a variety of ways.

My Project

My students will benefit from the Time-for-Kids subscription because it will provide information on current world events in a kid-friendly layout.

Non-fiction texts can be a challenge, and I am confident the Time-for-Kids texts will grab their attention.

In addition, the TFK has apps and with our IPADS, we are in need of Logitech H111 headphones so students can watch/listen to extensions of the assignments as well as record and send voice memos. This REALLY excites the students!!

The HUE HD document camera will aid with fun Art projects that we complete across the curriculum and allow me to share student work in detail for the whole class to see.
