My students come from all different nationalities, income levels, and varying levels of exposure to life. Being in a Title I school means many of my students are economically disadvantaged. My students deserve the best I can provide and would flourish with new technology and opportunities to learn. They love to read and are always eager to learn and grow. They are a wonderful bunch of kids who are going to change the world one day if they are given the chance.
My Project
My amazing group of 5th graders are working tremendously hard in our virtual classroom environment. I am holding my students to high expectations, and want to continue to find ways to motivate my class.
I want to be able to provide my class with incentives during their virtual learning and hybrid classrooms.
I plan on sending home incentives like bookmarks, books, and little trinkets when students complete their work in a timely manner and to the best of their ability; along with letters on bright colored paper
I also want to be able to provide fun and safe activities when we come back into the classroom by being able to take pictures. When we come back for the hybrid model, students can earn their opportunity to add to a photo wall by putting forth their best effort.
Being in a virtual classroom is super difficult. Being able to purchase materials from Teachers Pay Teachers would allow me time to focus more on my students instead of spending time on creating lessons. I will be able to provide better instruction for them and help them achieve their academic goals.
