My students need a fan for our classroom because it is regularly over 80 degrees inside our classroom. I am requesting a bladeless fan so that it will be silent and enable a quality learning environment.

My Students
I am a high school special education Civics teacher working in Chicago Public Schools. I am fortunate to work in a wall-to-wall IB school. This means all of our students learn using the IB pedagogy to help them become critical thinkers, open minded, and well rounded adults.
All of our students engage in rigorous class work, including my special education students.
It is amazing to watch my students who are struggling readers and often have difficulty in school excel in class when tacking rigorous instruction.
I work in a large 8 story school that is incredibly difficult to manage temperature wise. The weather changes quickly in Chicago, and our schools air conditioner is unable to keep up with it. For example, it is only 70 degrees outside right now, but 80 degrees inside my classroom with the windows open and even hotter in the hallways. Our building engineers do their best to keep up with the temperature, but a fan would help to create an ideal learning environment in my classroom immediately.

My Project
I work in a large 8 story building that is difficult to manage temperature wise. When the weather changes my classroom gets extremely hot; it is regularly 80 degrees inside my class. Trying to learn in an overheated classroom is nearly impossible, and I am asking for a Dyson Pure Cool Link WiFi-Enabled Air Purifier, White to help create a safe, comfortable, and productive learn environment.
I am asking for this fan in particular because I teach special education and have students on the autism spectrum who are noise sensitive.
A bladeless silent fan will create a safe and inviting learning environment for ALL students.
