Keeping the Classroom Calm With Nature

My students need a leaf rug to help create a calm learning environment with nature and calming colors.

My Students

Our school is family. When the students come to class each day, they are going to their family away from home. The teachers and students all feel the love and compassion each and every day. We love learning, and we love having fun. Everyone is looking out for one another. And the staff is a team. We work together and collaborate to meet the needs of all students.

Our school is diverse and so special.

There are so many cultures represented, and that makes learning so much fun here. We are able to learn from one another and see how unique the world around us truly is. We love our school!

My Project

Our classroom has a jungle theme and the students are constantly moving around and learning in all parts of the classroom. We currently have a table that is used for small groups, and the art center. This rug would be placed under that table to build and support out learning environment with calming colors and a nature theme. The students would be able to identify the area easily, and be able to enjoy learning in this space with this new leaf rug. Adding a carpet to the classroom is a great way to bring a classroom to life and help the students love to learn!
