This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Technology has transformed the way my students learn in the classroom. It gives them instant access to new information and learning. My students enjoy learning new material through the use of technology. In our class we research questions online to give students an immediate answer to their questions or their wonders.
My students are very tech savvy; I call them my little interactive learners.
I try to find numerous ways to incorporate technology into my lessons to make it more meaningful to them and it always is.
My Project
These materials will allow my students to experience 21st-century learning in their own hands, during group or individual time. We will use interactive apps that allow children to focus on counting, sorting, letter recognition, and much more. Students will also have the opportunity to do their own research based on topics addressed in the classroom.
My students become very engaged during interactive learning and I believe they learn new material with ease through this method.
Many children are used to using tablets and smartphones outside of school, so why not incorporate something they are familiar with to help enhance learning in the classroom?
