Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Seven year old smiling faces wanting to learn is what excites me every August. Every year these boys and girls are like little sponges waiting to soak up everything.
Each individual student brings something special to the classroom, whether its a second language, an experience, a talent or just simple questions; together they are simply amazing.
My Project
This year returning to school will look different, but the in school experience should still be fun and memorable. Giving each child their set of school supplies will allow kids to be creative and have fun, while keeping safe.
Decorating face masks will allow each student to show off their creativity and feel proud to wear them in school and around town.
Personalizing their book bags will make it easy to locate and separate all of their belongings as well as creating beautiful masterpieces.
Although students won't be sharing supplies, they can definitely share their ideas and creative thoughts with each other.
